Drew Polak has been inducted into the AEA Hall of Fame
drew polakDrew would join the AEA in the JEMC (30+) with Team English in the mid-2010s. This would be where he would collect his first AEA title in the summer of 2018. It would be a 3-1 win over Team Green at Silver Puck Challenge XIV. He would have to wait another three (3) years before he would get the opportunity to dust off a new spot in the trophy cabinet. Drew would be a part of VETSports in the Potter Cup (C) as a liaison player; assisting his team to a 6-5 win over annual contenders Gang Green at Silver Puck Challenge XVII (2021).
While participating and winning these two Silver Puck Challenge titles he would also participate in the Hockey Hold'em tournament. He would lift his first Kegger Cup trophy at Hockey Hold'em V (2019); with their team's 5-0 win. This win would make him a part of the first and still only Hockey Hold'em championship game shutout win. Drew would also make it to Championship Sunday at Hockey Hold'em VII in 2021. He would be part of an 8-3 overwhelming victory against their competitors. This title gave Drew a matching set of Hockey Hold'em titles to go with his two Silver Puck Challenge championship rings.
Drew only need a Dekes & Dangles championship to become an AEA All Around Champion. He would participate regularly in the tournament, coming up short of reaching his goal. In the winter of 2022 at Dekes & Dangles VII, Drew would join team SPC in the A/B+ Bracket and claim the right to be called an AEA All Around Champion with their 15-12 win over Trophy Class. This title also placed Drew in the AEA All Around Perfecta Trifecta category for winning these three (3) different AEA titles in order. Starting with the SPCXVII (2021), HVII (2021) and finally the DDVII (2022). Drew is one of our most decorated AEA champions.
Drew is also a sponsor of the AEA; off the ice he is a part of the team at Weadock & Associates.

The AEA has been bringing adult "beer league" hockey tournaments to west Michigan for over 20 years. Established in 2005, we have delivered some of the most competitive and unique tournament formats to the state. Our goal is to insure that all teams have the same opportunities to compete and win.
