ESTABLISHED 2005
The Silver Puck Challenge is the flagship adult hockey tournament of the AEA. Full ice, full equipment, and ten (10) brackets.
The Silver Puck Challenge was established in 2005 and is played at Patterson Ice Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Silver Puck Challenge takes place in May and continues on through June. The tournament features five (5) full weekends of competitive adult hockey tournament excitement. We have a bracket for everyone, we have brackets for ACHA+ skilled players all the way down to those just learning the game. Each weekend will be dedicated to a couple different brackets of the SPC. If you and your team is looking to test themselves in the tournament setting, then the Silver Puck Challenge is for you.

The AEA has been bringing adult "beer league" hockey tournaments to west Michigan for over 20 years. Established in 2005, we have delivered some of the most competitive and unique tournament formats to the state. Our goal is to insure that all teams have the same opportunities to compete and win. Hockey Hold'em is a one of kind adult "gambling" hockey tournament played with drafted teams of all different skill levels, ages and genders. If you want to be champion at Hockey Hold'em you're going to have to "Gamble Your Way to the Top!" [MORE INFO]
Dekes & Dangle Pond Hockey Invitational is currently the only pond hockey tournament being played in west Michigan. Dekes & Dangles is "Pond Hockey for only the Strong. The facility includes heated cabins, a chilling system and a lights for night time play. [MORE INFO]
